Iason Gordeziani Square
Located in the historical section of the Boulevard, near the Colonnades, this square is named after the Georgian gardener Iason Gordeziani. Established in 2019, it spans an area of 700 square meters. The design for the square won an international architectural competition, where it was recognized as the best landscape project. A statue of Iason Gordeziani, created by the renowned Georgian sculptor Irakli Tsuladze, had originally been erected on this site. A secluded zone within the square features a small area furnished with garden benches and illuminated by decorative lighting. Through the use of various types of ornamental shrubs and trees, a landscaping style characteristic of French Classicism has been created, with the plants distinguished by their contrasting colors.
