Japanese garden
The "Japanese Garden," one of the most visited spots on Batumi Boulevard, was established in 2015. Spanning an area of 4,000 square meters, the garden features landscape designs and elements characteristic of traditional Japanese landscaping. Key symbols of Japanese culture—such as a gazebo, a pond with a bridge, stone lanterns, and traditional torii gates—transport visitors into an authentic Eastern atmosphere. The garden contains dozens of plant species typical of Japanese horticulture, including maples, sakura (cherry blossoms), junipers, and azaleas. Each year, new landscape compositions—designed as islands connected by pathways—are added to the site. An electronic tender for the expansion of the garden was announced on August 23, 2017; the completed work was valued at 121,690 GEL and carried out by "Intertechnologi" LLC.
