Interesting news regarding the greening of Batumi Boulevard
With the approaching summer tourist season of 2025, the Greening and Landscape Planning Service is of Batumi Boulevard implementing a number of events to offer visitors a variety of recreational spaces.
Damaged plants were removed from the garden and replaced with new ones, in particular, an additional 122 perennial seedlings were planted in the Pine alley, 10 new Date palms were added to the promenade palm alley, and a total of 1,561 perennial trees and shrubs were planted. At the same time, in order to improve the damaged areas, a natural grass cover was laid on an area of 3,050 square meters. The flower beds were diversified with seasonal flowers, including: Begonia, Tagetes, Gazania, Salvia. There are also new developments in the field of greening on the new boulevard, in particular, the olive alley arranged last year will be supplemented by the summer with newly shaped Olive trees in modern portable pots. It is also planned to arrange a new green space near the aquapark, which will combine up to 1,000 perennial and decorative tree-plants on an area of 4,000 square meters. These innovations will add additional functional value to the new boulevard and improve the visual appearance of the space.
