The adapted beaches of the boulevard are open to visitors
From June 15, the summer tourist season opened with an adapted beach for visitors with disabilities.
As part of the adapted infrastructure project, an adapted walkway, shower and changing room have been installed on the beaches along Kempinski Hotel and Griboedov Street.
Floating wheelchairs have been placed on the beach, with the help of which people with disabilities will be able to enter the sea independently.
The use of the floating wheelchair is free for users. Persons with disabilities will be provided with services by specially allocated support staff.
In addition to the new location, Batumi Boulevard LLPE is working on the third consecutive project of an adapted beach, which will become available on the territory of the new boulevard during the current season.
