Preparatory works for the tourist season on Batumi Boulevard are at the final stage
Preparatory works on Batumi boulevard in connection with the summer tourist season are at the final stage. Rehabilitation works were carried out in several directions throughout the entire territory of the boulevard. Painting and renovation works were carried out on the colonnades, children's and sports grounds and monumental sculptures of the boulevard. Pools of swan lake and of fountains are cleaned intensively.
At the same time, with the help of special equipment, washing works of cycling ans walking paths were carried out, which will be performed regularly during the summer season.
Beach infrastructure has also been upgraded, in particular, sea access paths and shower-changing rooms. This year, in addition, another place has been allocated on the beach, where an adapted path and shower-changing rooms for people with disabilities will be installed.
Significant greening and planting works were also made in the seaside garden. Up to 4 thousand annual and perennial tree-plants were planted.
