Summer Season Preparations Underway

In preparation for the summer tourist season, Batumi Boulevard is undergoing intensive maintenance and upgrade works. Infrastructure development and restoration are being carried out daily across various areas, upgrading walking and recreational spaces to ensure the boulevard is fully prepared for visitors. Providing high-quality services and well-organized infrastructure remains a top priority for the upcoming season, with active efforts focused on these goals. At the central entrance, on the site of the Wedding Hall, the historic pool is being restored to its original appearance. Additionally, a new fountain will be installed to harmoniously complement the existing fountain ensemble. Currently, the second phase of infrastructure upgrades along N. Dumbadze and D. Tavdadebuli streets is underway. This project includes laying new decorative tiles and curbs. Once completed, it will significantly improve the walking area and fully resolve local flooding issues. Special attention is being paid to beach and park infrastructure. New, modernized changing rooms, showers, and walking paths leading to the sea are being installed along the coastline. At the same time, children's play areas and sports grounds across Batumi Boulevard are being refurbished. Work on the new boulevard's kids' zone is nearing completion, while a new rubber safety surface is being laid at the playground on the old boulevard. Painting works on the iconic colonnades and the Veterans Chess Club have already been completed. Various park fixtures are being upgraded, including the installation of new benches, waste bins, and other public amenities. Intensive landscaping and green space maintenance are also in progress. Trees and plants are being planted, and additional recreational spaces are being created on vacant areas. These ongoing projects will significantly enhance both the functional and visual appeal of Batumi Boulevard, ensuring a successful and welcoming tourist season.
