New Recreational Space to Be Developed Near the Colonnade - Batumi Boulevard 1881

A new recreational space is being developed adjacent to the Colonnade on the Old Boulevard, occupying an area where a cafe-bar were recently dismantled. The vacated site forms a natural extension of the existing Jason Gordezian Square. To integrate the area seamlessly into its surroundings, the Batumi Boulevard Greening and Landscape Planning Service has designed a dedicated landscaping plan. The project aims to restore the location's original, authentic appearance and ensure it blends harmoniously with the environment. The ongoing works involve paving existing pathways, landscaping, and installing park infrastructure—all managed by the Boulevard’s dedicated services. Ahead of the upcoming tourist season, this new green zone will significantly enhance the appearance of the Old Boulevard’s central district, creating an even more inviting environment for residents and visitors.
