The dismantling of unauthorized structures Completed
on Batumi Boulevard The Municipal Inspection of Batumi City Hall, together with Batumi Boulevard mobile teams, has dismantled three more illegal objects, including two catering facilities and one commercial unit.
Leases for these facilities have expired. The catering outlets were located in the green zone of the boulevard and significantly detracted from the appearance of the recreational area, while the commercial facility was situated adjacent to the Yacht Club.
Over the past month, 14 unsightly and unauthorized commercial structures have been removed from the area adjacent to the Yacht Club. With the work finished and construction debris cleared, the area is now undergoing a complete transformation.
Around 100 small businesses, 40 cafes-bars, and 20 food stalls have already been removed from the boulevard and across the city. The process follows all legal regulations and aims to refresh the city’s look while creating a more organized and inviting space for recreation.
