Greening is underway on cleared sites along Batumi Boulevard - Batumi Boulevard 1881

The restoration of green spaces has begun on Batumi Boulevard. Landscaping works have launched in the pine forest areas of the Old Boulevard, targeting spaces recently cleared of unauthorized structures. These areas are being restored to their natural state, with new maritime pine seedlings already being planted. In addition to the planting, turfing (grass laying) is scheduled to begin shortly. Plans are also place to create new squares and recreational zones at specific locations along the promenade. These initiatives are set to significantly enhance the ecological health and leisure environment of Batumi’s seaside boulevard.
