International Day of Forests
In connection with the World Down Syndrome Day and the International Day of Forests, at the initiative of Batumi Boulevard, a planting event was organized with the involvement of children with Down Syndrome. Together with the gardeners, the adolescent planted pine trees with their names. Creating an inclusive environment and promoting people with special needs is one of the priority directions for Batumi Boulevard. Thus, by planting pine trees, they have contributed to the care of the environment and at the same time responded to the message of this year's international campaign
#InclusionMeans, which primarily involves living in a peaceful environment as it is impossible to take care of the promotion and integration of people with special needs if world peace is not ensured. From now on, the seaside garden will be adorned with pine trees named after the children of the sun, which will symbolize the continuation of life, peace and support.
As part of the event,, the children were given symbolic gifts from the administration of the boulevard.
